Objectve: To analyze the professional nursesû perception of nursing innovation leadership components at specialized cancer hospital in region 4, Department of Medical Services, Ministry of Public Health.
Meterials and Methods: This research is descriptive study. The population is composed of 203 professional nurses. The research instrument was a questionnaire, divided into 2 parts; Part 1 asked general information of 10 respondents, Part 2 asked about information on the components of leadership and innovation in nursing care at specialized cancer hospitals. Part 1: General data was analyzed using frequency and percentage statistics. Part 2: Factors related to leadership included average score, standard deviation, the level of significance of the mean of the variables and Exporatory factor analysis.
Result: The findings of this research show the five components of the professional nurses innovation leadership components are: 1) Specialization in Cancer 2) Knowledge and Skills, about Disease and caring 3) Personality 4) Society and 5) Characteristics.
Conclusions: The five components of the professional nursesû perception of nursing innovation leadership components are: 1) Specialization in Cancer 2) Knowledge and Skills, about Disease and caring 3) Personality 4) Society and 5) Characteristics.
